Monstera Bottle- Collab with Ryan Rahkshan - Now Closed

from $8.00
Sold Out

This raffle is now closed. We sold 83 tickets and raised $616 for the community center (before taxes and fees)! Thank you. Winner will be announced before June 7 via Instagram and email.

If you love the glazes I use on my pots, Ryan Rahkshan is the guy behind those, by way of his company Midnight Ceramics (co-owned with Gary Moomau). I had the good fortune of hosting Ryan in Portland last summer for a quick visit, where he taught us a crash course in glaze chemistry, AND threw two giant pots for me to carve.

This beautiful bottle, was one he threw in a dark chocolate stoneware clay body. When it was dry enough, I trimmed the bottom and then carved all the leaves, and textured surface. The leaves and interior are glazed with Sexy Mermaid, one of my favorite glazed from Midnight Ceramics. I am in love with how it came out, and I hope you are too.

This one of a kind beauty, can be yours if you’re feeling lucky! You can buy raffle tickets for your chance to win it. All the proceeds go towards buying ceramic equipment and rent on the Com-Fusion Clay Community Center in Portugal.
