I was interviewed on the potters cast!

As a ceramic artist, there are a few podcasts that I love to listen to in the studio while I work. The Potters Cast is in one of my go to’s. Especially since the host, Paul Blais, lives just across the Columbia River from me, and our paths have crossed indirectly over the years, but never in person, and never about my own work.

So you can imagine my delight when I got a message from Paul late last year, inviting me to be a guest on the podcast! I had a blast talking with Paul, despite being stupidly nervous and making a few blunders. It was a good push out of my comfort zone, and a delight to talk about my clay journey, and what’s coming next. I invite you to give it a listen, and would love to hear your thoughts and questions in the comments below. if you’re an artist interested in traveling for an art residency please check out this survey about the clay community center and artist residencies we are building in Portugal with my friend Mariana Sampaio.

The more feedback, the better! I am pretty sure we have the house for residencies secured, and I’m excited to start planning and building the new studio space there. Hoping to start hosting guests in early 2025.

You can listen to the episode here.
